All of our instructors are certified by top martial arts organizations and have undergone extensive training to ensure that they are equipped to provide the best possible instruction to our students.
About the Founder - Master Sal Giglio
Sal Giglio is a highly respected figure in the martial arts community with a remarkable career spanning over 50 years. He holds a 9th-degree black belt and has made almost 1000 black belts throughout his lifetime. Many of his students have gone on to open their own schools, spreading his teachings further. Born in Milan, Italy, he immigrated to the United States when he was just 11 years old.
Sal's mastery of Tai Chi was greatly influenced by his training under Professor Cheng Man-Ch'ing, a master known for his expertise in multiple disciplines, including martial arts. This training has deeply impacted Sal's approach and teaching methods. Sal's influence in boxing is evident, with many of his students winning titles like the Golden Gloves. Sal himself has an outstanding record from his competitive years, obtaining many trophies and awards, showcasing his skill and dedication to martial arts.

Sal's expertise covers a wide range of disciplines including but not limited to Boxing, Kickboxing, Thai Boxing, Muay Thai, Tai Chi Chuan, and Tae Kwon Do.

Today, Sal continues to inspire and teach at the Kickboxing, Tai Kwon Do & Tai Chi Chuan Center, with two locations--Eltingville, Staten Island, New York, and Bath Beach, Brooklyn, New York. His commitment to martial arts and his students' growth remains as strong as ever.
